A simulation game around building a city blueprint to make a unique plant become extinct.
The game was created with Unity and is completely finished.
The city blueprint
There are nine slots to fill with different buildings. Those buildings provide income for you and take away ressources from the natural flora (eg. the park needs a lot of space, the factory pollutes the air). At the same time, the buildings impact how content the population of your city is with you. While building a factory kills the native plant fast and gives you a good income, the population will not like that and accelerate the process to get rid of you as their mayor.
Your struggle is to balance the satisfaction of the environmentally engaged population with your desire to drive the native flora into extinction.
Procedural Plant Generation
Plants are procedurally generated with an L-system and can be varied around a randomized seed. Each plant in the game comes with its own needs and visuals.
